In the twentieth century we saw an INFLUX of so many so called AVATARS in India.

Then what about them?

They are all a bunch of JOKERS.

They have all acquired some special skills and with that, they are befooling the world.

These skills are PSYCHIC powers.

They are power over MATTER.

MATTER in the HINDU TRADITION is called as MAYA-SAKTI.

MAYA-SAKTI means magical powers.

Magical powers can fascinate you, delude you and mesmerise you.

And you think that it is holy, or are made to think that they are holy.

Any RASCAL can cultivate these powers.

Some are born with it, as a carry-over from their past lives.

Some cultivate it by special practices, all meant to delude you and capture you.

Then you become a victim or their follower.

They also acquire a good marketing agency.

The active practice of these powers by mortal ignorant man, is what is called as THE FUNCTIONING OF SATAN IN MAN.

This fact is referred to by JESUS in the BIBLE.

In the Gospel of Luke (4.1-13) the ‘TEMPTATION OF CHRIST’ by the DEVIL is discussed.

This section is meant as an education for mortal man, as not to indulge in psychic or spiritual powers, without its accompanying wisdom.

Jesus was endowed with the HOLY WISDOM, along with the HOLY POWERS.

Therefore his mind was in TUNE with the cosmic mind of the CREATOR.

Therefore, at will he knows when to use his powers and when not to.

But mortal ignorant man uses his psychic powers for self- glory and exhibitionism.

Thus HOLY POWER is POWER OF THE SPIRIT.

It is GOD POWER.
While psychic power is, power over matter acquired by forms of worship and by black magical practices.

A good many Indian GURUS, or so called gurus are adept at these TANTRIC and black-magical practices. It is a form of sorcery.

So do be careful of them.

While all these Avatars, being so many cancel each other out.

One of them came to RISHIKESH in the Himalayas fifty years ago perhaps to demonstrate his skills and gain recognition from the MONKS.

But to no avail.

The monks (SWAMIS) were unimpressed by his psychic skills and demonstrations.

He produced necklaces, gold chains and even a solid granite rock chair.

But the monks looked at all this with humour.

He cannot give them what they want.

Namely Salvation or Enlightenment.

Nor lead them to it.

Even in the ‘SERMON ON THE MOUNT’, in the Gospel of Matthew (7.15-23), in the section dealing with “A TREE AND ITS FRUITS”, Jesus says;
“WATCH OUT FOR FALSE PROPHETS”;
THEY COME TO YOU IN SHEEPS CLOTHING,
BUT INWARDLY THEY ARE FEROCIOUS WOLVES.

BY THEIR FRUITS YOU WILL RECOGNISE THEM.

DO PEOPLE PICK GRAPES FROM THORNBUSHES, OR FIGS FROM THISTLES.

“LIKEWISE EVERY GOOD TREE BEARS GOOD FRUIT, BUT A BAD TREE BEARS BAD FRUIT”
A GOOD TREE CANNOT BEAR BAD FRUIT, AND A BAD TREE CANNOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT.

So too also, a holy being will only have good disciples and good people around him.

Evil doers and bad people cannot be around a holy person.

So also a wicked or an unholy person cannot have good disciples and good people around him.

Thus the tree is discovered and discerned by the fruit it bears.

The FRUIT is threefold.
A) The disciples
B) The associates
C) The deeds and acts
Thus a holy being will only have good disciples, good associates and be a person of noble deeds and acts.

While an unholy being will naturally have disreputable characters around to further their mutual interest.

Also an AVATAR would never speak of religion nor of religious worship and its co-related practices.

KRISHNA, BUDDHA and JESUS never did so.

Neither did the three initiate anyone.

They only gave a good teaching.

It is the living of these teachings which will lead one to Salvation.
