Bhagavad Gita Chapter 13 Introduction to Lessons

This is a teacher to student dialogue given in 14 lessons which opens out & expands on the mystical teachings of Krishna contained in Chapter 13 of the Bhagavad Gita.

The 13th Chapter speaks of the field and the true knower of the field. There is also a pseudo knower – the individual who transpired along with the field.

The field is the universe, the human body & mind in which all human experiences transpire. The net result is, an individual transpired for whom there is human bondage.

Once the individual realises how it transpired or got mixed up and became the individual, then it tends to revert back to its original status as the true ALL KNOWER who is unrelated to the field of operations.

This theme of reverting back to its original status as the divine, and not being as an individual is the outline of this chapter, the way to do so, is ingeniously outlined here for man’s liberation from himself & the universe.

Thus, the TRUTH & the error is contrasted for man’s liberation from his enigmatic state as an individual.
