A scripture is the WORD of God.

It was declared unto man for man’s salvation.

By the authoritative word of God, transmitted VIA an AVATAR, a MESSIAH.

Or directly imparted as mystic revelations to wise sages-RISHIS, in years gone by.

It contains the fundamental truths of life, and also truths of living a spiritual life.

It DOES NOT SPEAK OF RELIGION, NOR OF ITS PRACTICE.

RELIGION is a handiwork and a product of mortal man.

GOD does not speak of a religion, nor for a religion.

Hence do not equate a scripture with a religion.

The HINDU SCRIPTURE, BHAGAVAD GITA is a sublime teaching on the SPIRITUAL ART OF LIVING AND ATTAINING ENLIGHTENMENT.

The UPANISHADS declare the ‘WAY TO GOD WITHIN’.

The FOUR GOSPELS OF JESUS teach the ‘WAY TO SALVATION’ for the experience of ‘GOD WITHIN’; for, “the kingdom of God is within”.

While BUDDHA spoke of a ‘WAY OF LIFE’ based on the TRUTHS OF LIFE.

To understand and live the above truths, so declared by the wise, one does not have to subscribe to a religion and be a Hindu, Buddhist or a Christian.

For the TRUTHS, are not a HINDU TRUTH, nor a BUDDHIST TRUTH, nor a CHRISTIAN TRUTH.

A TRUTH is a universal truth, having no religious affiliation.

When it does so, IT gets distorted and warped and loses its sublime content.

Ask yourself a question.

Does GOD have a religion?

From this, you will discover a profound truth.

And furthermore, in order to discover and experience God within, you will have to DE-CONDITION yourself from all socio-religious conditioning.

If not, it is not possible to realise God.

For, you are a conditioned victim of your belief systems, and practices of whatever society you are born into and belong to.

You have thus far been INDOCTRINATED.

Hence, focus your attention on God and Truth.

To know this, focus your attention on the truth teachings contained in the scriptures.

Then, having understood, discard the scriptures.

The scriptures too, declare it so.

Thereafter, rise above the scriptures and pay attention to the ATMAN within.

Atman within, is GOD within.

For this, ‘I AM THE WAY’ unfolds it.

For, ‘I AM THE TRUTH’ is the truth.

Hence, why are you looking for the truth elsewhere?

You will never find it. (elsewhere).

LOOK WITHIN, WITH FOCUSSED ATTENTION.

Therein lies the source and the secret of your Salvation.

For GOD is a SPIRIT, to be worshipped in TRUTH and in spirit.

To spiritedly worship God within.

To do anything, you will have to do it with spirit.

Here too, spiritedly LOOK WITHIN.

And thus will you discover, WHO YOU ARE.
